Our Work

Explore Cross Ethnic Community’s work; from sewing classes for refugees to poverty reduction and skills training overseas.

In Glasgow

We run weekly sewing classes for asylum seekers and refugees at Town Head Village Hall. These sessions provide a safe and welcoming space to learn skills, improve mental wellbeing, and build social connections.

In Rural Communities

Our overseas projects provide practical support to 16 disadvantaged communities. Key focus areas include:

  • Nutrition for Children – Providing food support for pre-school children.

  • Income Generation – Helping farmers and fishers earn a fair living.

  • Skills Training – Teaching women to create Palmyrah handicrafts to support their families.
